A Confession

I have a confession.

I've posted a few things on this site about vim. I like vim, a lot. But lately I've..., well I've strayed. I've been seeing another editor. You can probably guess who. That's right, emacs.

I've never been especially partisan in the editor wars. As long as you use a "real" editor, a programmable editor, I won't heckle you. But why emacs, why now? I've been learning lisp. And learning lisp is pretty much the same thing as learning emacs. I tried it in vim for about a day. Then I developed my wandering eye.

So, sorry vim purists. I still use, love and advocate "our" editor. But I have to reserve the right to pick the best tool for the job, and occasionally it will be emacs.
